About 2 months ago I purchased a used 3000 motherboard from Centsible to replace one of my 3000 boards that have a nonfunctional 31khz output (battery damage.) It arrived in about two weeks. The "good with a soldering iron" in my case referred to a 68030 soldered onto the motherboard off key (read: destroyed.) Also, the board was missing several IC's, all the custom chips and a clock generator. It may not always be the case, but that purchase was pretty much a waste of time.
The guy didn't want to send pictures in advance and wouldn't respond with anything other than offers to check his site for other stuff. What really sucks is some schmuck bid the board up to $20 at the last minute.
Aargh,
Adrian
