The only thing I use telnet for now days is for testing (smtp, http etc). A SSH client might have been a more practical application to have released. Not to mention, telnet is usually disabled on servers due to it being a security hole.
I wonder how many sales they will get.
I've found a use for Telnet... My
File Server uses a telnet port for basic functions. Don't think I would need to do this from a friggin cell-phone, though. (telser.device + term works fine, assuming the HTML logs don't cover what I need to know, which all work fine in Ibrowse.)
