What kind of games are you trying to o run? Most of the OS-Friendly ones should auto-detect an RTG environment. (Picasso96 seems to have a CGFX compatibility layer, though I've had a few minor probs with it, having just gone RTG in the last 2 weeks myself) Adoom, Descent, etc.. should be OK, and actually prefer RTG. If you're running older games VIA whdload or similar, theres really no chance of getting them on an RTG monitor, they'll just go over the AGA/ECS output. (Why I have 2 monitors hooked up until I can get a switch) If you're lucky, some games seem to deal with mode promotion utilities like newmode pretty well, most however will crash & burn. (I just try one, see if it works, and hit the 3-finger salute if not :D )

The only exception I know of to that would be some GFX cards that have a built-in scandoubler and pass-trhough. My father had one on his A4000, think its a picasso. If you have an amiga w/o the correct (Zorro?) slot, you're SOL with that, too. Though I have been eying up some scandoublers designed for video game systems on Amazon and Ebay, these seem to have  both VGA and S-Video adapters, which would be easily adapted to an RGB port, not sure if they auto-switch, though. I'll post a link if I can manage to find one again.
