actually, he mentioned that as they didn't turn into these sex goddesses, so no one is interested in them anymore. (i'm paraphrasing. howard has three daughters, so he has no sexual interest in very young girls.)
Actually considering their fame nowadays seem to hold on by a thread, making B-movies that don't do very well, I'd be willing to bet they are just about washed up. They aren't cute little children anymore and they aren't exactly sex symbols. Makes you wonder how far they will fall, if this is really the case.
i always thought they were ugly children and they are now talentless, unattractive gnomes.
