here in NY it was a very clear night and we saw a beautiful maroon moon. The white sliver of light (for us) was on the left side of the moon. well, that was when the eclipse was starting to end.

I was worried about being about to see the  moon because we have had rain and cloudy days all week, so this was quite a treat!

I believe the next red moon happens around aug 28th or thereabouts!

in case anyone here is using the most recent Opera (9.10, I think), there's something called "Widgets" which is little programs that can be run from Opera.

one I think some here might like is PlanetWerks

It displays the sun and planets moving around the sun - right on your desktop! it's really cute.
