I sent an MMS from my phone. It claims it went through. I don't even know if MMS messages can be recieved by gmail, but I tried!

actually, everyone so far sounds far nicer than I do, but I've always hated my voice. It's not my best "feature".

hey, adz, on your site I only hear me saying "hi..". I think part of my message was lost in the ether. I certainly don't want you to work hard on this. it's not like anything I say is so darn important.

Strangly enough, I'm not even sure what format a cell phone saves audio in. (why don't I know this?? I SHOULD know this. god, this is embarrassing).

I'd suggest me resending via another phone, but I don't want you struggling with this.

well, there ARE certain words which would give it away - none of which were included in my sound clip.

Trust me, THAT should completely showcase the accent!

adz, I just sent you a new sound file - mp3. And as I used a PDA phone (windows OS) it was naturally a complicated affair.  :roll:

this phone (cingular 8525) has some really nice features but sending an email is strangly confusing.

it could be me.  :lotsacoffee:

anyway, let me know if it actually arrived or was lost in the ether......

my phone uses the Notes PWI format and I had to find a converter to change it to wav in the phone (which I then converted to mp3 on my computer).

doing a quick google i found Mobile AMR converter. I have no idea if this works, but obviously there are converters all over the place.
