Odd since Amiga computing is dependent on Amiga, Inc., unless orphaned systems with no prospect for new versions is fine with you. It is true that there are AOS alternatives, but I guess that's not what you meant.

i'm not depending on Amiga Inc.

I've used WinUAE fro years. I'm trying out AROS and hope it gets better (as I'm sure it will).

plus, I don't discount solutions that have not yet happened.

what I DON'T bother doig is hoping some saviour will come along and make everything oky doky.
