Biggest mistake?

I have an Amiga RGB SCART cable I connect to my 7 inch LCD monitor that has a RGB scart input.

I am in the states and mine does not do PAL, atleast from the amiga but it does RGB with the scart cable and will do 15 khz.
If you need a monitor to play games on and use the graphics card for real work, this is not a bad idea.

Another idea is to use a RGB scart cable to a RGB VGA transcoder/upconveter.

Have not tried this but it might work as well.
