Pardon? It says something like "Copyright 1985-2003 Amiga Inc and Hyperion Entertainment".

Do you say "GNU/Linux" or Linux when you refer to said OS?

I think you are trying to intepret something into the presentation that is simply not there...

OK, let me rephrase :-)

Most people I talk to say "OS X". They might say "MacOS X". None say "Apple MacOS X". Not even Apple.

I always say "OS 3.9" or "3.9".

The reason: It's just shorter :-)
