I mounted mine (a Teac 24x) in the middle of the machine, between the keyboard ribbon cable and the floppy disk drive. Much nicer place for it imho and you can still keep the original harddisk cage for added keyboard support. It's a tight fit but mine works flawlessly. You are going to need a 4-way IDE splitter that works with IDEFix, an IDE to mini-IDE adapter (to fit the tiny connector on the back of the cd drive), some 40 pin IDE cable and a Y power adapter with three of the small floppy disk type power connectors to draw power from the m/b floppy power pins to supply power to your new CDROM drive and the original floppy disk drive.
