I'm based in Auckland. I would have got my A500 about the same time as you, previously had a C64. Had a lot of fun and met some great people through the bulletin boards and user group. Unfortunately. I ended up giving all my kit away to the daughter of a family friend.
I'd started thinking about the Amiga again over the last couple of years, looking to pick up a good A1200 system. Eventually I decided to get the A600GS, which suits me just fine for that hit nostalgia.
