Ok so I have managed to get myself a Power Mac G5, I only need some ram and a hard drive to get it up and running (that's if it even works) and I am wanting to know how hard/easy it is to install MorphOS?

Which model of G5 PowerMac did you get?  Have you confirmed that it is one of the models on the compatibility list? http://www.morphos-team.net/hardware

If it is one of the liquid cooled G5 PowerMac's, it most surely has leaked coolant at one time or another, and probably has corrosion that should first be removed.  Then replace the "O" rings with new ones and put it all back together.  Every liquid cooled model I have seen has had moderate to excessive corrosion, even when they have not had serious leaks from the cooling system yet.  This corrosion sometimes cannot be seen until you have partially disassembled the system and removed the G5 CPU card(s) from the motherboard and case to look underneath them.  I strongly suggest that you check for corrosion and clean it all up, before proceeding any further with testing of your new G5 PowerMac.

Then look around for an R400 based Radeon graphics card and a hard drive or SSD and you should be ready to go.  Installation of MorphOS is usually very easy and automatic, and quick.  ENJOY!:)
