Big Amiga collection going to eBay, or AmiBay
« on: October 30, 2011, 05:16:45 AM »
I have decided to finally do what I have been thinking of and threatening to do for the past couple of years, and reduce my massive Amiga collection to 5 or under Classic Amiga computer systems.  So if anyone from here on A.org wants anything before I list it in an auction on eBay, or for sale on AmiBay, contact me right away.  I have too much stuff to list, but will give a hint of a few of the more desirable items here to give you an idea of what I will be getting rid of.  If you don't see what you are looking for, write and ask me if I have it and I will look through my stash of Amiga gear and software.

Phase5 CyberStorm 68060/50MHz & 604e PPC/233MHz w/128mb RAM & Cybervision graphics card

A3000T w/latest custom chips and 08 SCSI chip & 16mb Fast RAM

A2386sx25 Bridgeboard

A2000 w/GVP TekMagic 68060/50MHz & 128mb RAM & Spectrum video card

Fastlane Z3 memory & SCSI-II controller board

Efika 5200b w/MorphOS2.7 registered

Retina Z3 RTG video card

VLab Motion & Tocatta cards

NewTek Video Toaster & Flyer cards

DCTV units

boxed A1000 complete

boxed 1080 monitors

A500 & A500+ systems

Lots more

email me at earthlink.net is preferable than PMail here.

Thanks for looking

I don't suppose you have any spare plastics for an A1000? In particular the front chipram cover.

Or any other bits and bobs for a 1000 for that matter :)

No spare A1000 front covers, but I do have a complete A1000 to sell.

Update:

Phase5 CyberStorm 68060/50MHz & 604e PPC/233MHz w/128mb RAM & Cybervision graphics card with or without A4000D in tower case.  The Cybervision RTG card is the one that connects directly to the CyberStorm PPC accelerator, not a Zorro card. (I have two of these setups and I am selling my spares)

A3000T w/latest custom chips and 08 SCSI chip & 16mb Fast RAM

A2386sx25 Bridgeboard

A2000 w/GVP TekMagic 68060/50MHz & 128mb RAM & GVP Spectrum video card

Fastlane Z3 memory & SCSI-II controller board

Efika 5200b w/MorphOS2.7 registered

Retina Z3 RTG video card

VLab Motion & Tocatta cards

NewTek Video Toaster & Flyer cards

DCTV units

boxed A1000 complete

boxed 1080 monitors

A500 & A500+ systems

The last brand new NTSC A1200 that AmigaKit had for sale at last year's AmiWest 2010 Show, in the box and unused except to test once.

If offered a high price, I might even consider selling my A1200 w/Blizzard 1260, SCSI controller & 256mb RAM w/Subway USB & 8gb CF card & wireless NIC & external SCSI CD-ROM & SCSI Zip drive

High Density Chinon FZ-357A floppy drives with A3000/A3000T eject buttons (hard to find)
Lots more

email me at earthlink.net with your best offers, or wait for it all to go to eBay later today.

Thanks for looking and please remember the sentence above and use my earthlink.net email address to contact me, not PMail here.

Nice collection AmigaDave, very nice.

Do by chance have disks for the miracle keyboard?  I can't find mine...

PMail sent.

I have a spare Miracle Keyboard Piano Teaching system to sell/auction as well, so add that to my list.

I have responded to everyone's emails, thanks for your interest.  To make sure that everyone has a chance to purchase some of my items, I have decided to put most of them on eBay.  Sorry if that disappoints some of you, or upsets others that do not like eBay & PayPal.

If I receive any offers that I just can't refuse before the auctions go online at eBay, I will sell those items and they will not show up on any auction.

Thanks again for everyone's interest in these items.  Look for future postings with links to the auctions on eBay.

Please do not send PMail messages and don't send email asking for me to provide prices.  If you want to make me offers on anything, send them through email before I begin an eBay auction for that item.  I will accept offers that I think are in the same price range as I am likely to get on eBay anyway, but otherwise, I will be listing these items on eBay on Monday as fast as I can and will provide links here.

Thanks for all of the interest and the HD Floppy drives for the A3000/A3000T are gone.

Hey Dave,  ever thought of using the Amiga.org Auction House for selling your amiga items?

Mike

No reason not to use it, except for the reason given by others, not enough exposure here compared to what happens on eBay, or AmiBay.

Here is a link to the first listing:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150688215385

There is a reserve price, but it is much lower than the "Buy-It-Now" price shown.

Thanks for looking.

Entirely up to you but I'd open that up to international shipping. Those crazy Europeans seem to have large wallets ;)

It should already be open to International bidding and shipping.  If it is not, I will try to fix the listing.

Thanks for letting me know about that problem.

Edit:  I think I fixed the shipping options in the auction, but could someone from outside the USA please check the listing and tell me if the International shipping option appears in the listing?  I am a Noob at selling things on eBay.

Still says 'Ships to United States' for me. Not coming up in my international searches either.

You can test it yourself - just go to an eBay site outside the US (www.ebay.com.au for example) and do a search without being logged on (make sure to check the Worldwide check box)

So your are saying that people checking eBay outside the USA won't even see the auction?

I did note in the auction listing details that I would ship anywhere worldwide.

No need to worry about the auction showing up on international eBay sites.  Someone used the "Buy-It-Now" option within the first few hours of the auction being set up.

I wonder if I should have asked for more?  ;-)

I am really slow at setting up the other auctions and have too many things distracting me, but will try to get them set up tomorrow and over the next few days too.  Next auction will be for the CyberVision PPC video card.

Thanks to everyone that has shown interest, and specially who ever it was that purchased the CyberStorm PPC!

David, I'd just post these on Ebay.
You're going to get great results doing that.

What do you mean by "these" to post on eBay?

Here is the latest eBay auction of mine for a Phase5 FastlaneZ3:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150690399381

Thanks for looking.

I just read the auction description and, with my Fastlane Z3 at least, you don't need to load a special driver for SCSI. The driver is automacally loaded from the Fastlanes ROM and any SCSI drives connected to it will be recognized by the Amiga. I think the floppy just has SCSI drive prep software and SCSI utilities on it. You do need to modify the .info file for HDToolbox and change scsi.device to z3scsi.device for it to work with the Fastlane.

Thanks for the info.

I just relisted the FastlaneZ3, as it did not sell last time.  This auction has no reserve price, so anyone bidding on it will win.
