Let's not invite others to make this a flame war between the competing camps.  It is a news item regarding an event and MorphOS is one of the sponsors.

I look forward to news from the show this weekend.

And NO I don't hate MOS nor their users."

You have proven many times in the past that your last statement is false.

@gerograph,

Can you confirm what eliot is saying on MorphZone.org that some of the MorphOS Dev. Team members stated that the next release of MorphOS will be 3.0 and not 2.8?

In the past, several of the MorphOS Dev. Team members have confirmed that version 3.0 was only the working version number used for the latest work the Team was doing, and did not mean that the next version would be released as version 3.0.  For example, when Piru first showed a demo video of MorphOS2.x running on a G4 PowerBook over a year ago, it had the version number of 3.0 and when Bigfoot showed MorphOS2.x booting on a G5 PowerMac, also over a year ago, it also had a version number of 3.0 (IIRC).
