Thanks. Still using FFS. Will be moving to SFS when I have the rest taken care of. buffers? Just the default.. What is recommended?

Speaking of using SFS (or even PSF3, which I own a registered copy of), is the most common, easiest way of converting to those file systems to install them first of course, but then on a hard drive with several partitions, would it be best to just copy the contents of one partition to free space on an another partition, use HDToolBox to change the file system of the partition you copied FROM to SFS (or PSF), close HDToolBox which will probably tell you that you must reboot for the changes to take effect, reboot, format the changed partition (if required, which I would think it would be), then copy all the contents of that partition back to where they came from?

This would not work on the System partition as you would need an additional step of making the other partition that you copied it's content TO to be a bootable partition as HDToolBox would have wiped out your System partition when the File Type was changed from FFS to SFS (or PSF).

Did I miss anything, or am I way off base and there is a easier/better way to convert from an existing FFS partition to SFS, or PSF partitions?
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)
