Wow Brian!  Thanks for just saving me over $50.  I really need to save money every where I can these days and had already decided that I was going to get an IndivisionAGA at the AmiWest show from AmigaKit, but I couldn't pass up on this savings.

I like the idea of Microsoft paying 30% of my Amiga gear in this instance.  Wish I could get them to pay 30% for all my past & future Amiga purchases.

I don't remember how, but I had a MS-Live account and should be getting my rebate email confirmation shortly.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

No way!  I am getting closer and closer to getting all Microsoft products out of my life as I find alternatives to the few Windows programs that I have needed for years.

I don't remember the exact details I provided when I signed up for the Windows Live, (or Windows Passport works too) account, but I am sure I did not provide anything damaging to me or very useful for MS, as I don't like them much. :-D

What a sad attitude to have. The right tool for the right job is my motto, if M$ products are the easiest to get hold of, easiest to install and easiest use, then M$ products it is.

Why cut your right arm off just because others say it might be evil?

It's not other's attitudes or opinions I am thinking of when I say I have had more than enough of MS Windows and their related products.  If they had the best and easiest to use, I would not have a problem using them, even with my knowledge and continued anger at how MS has run so many companies and innovations into the ground.  There are plenty of reasons to dislike MS for what they have done in the past, but I am just sick of all the problems I get with Windows, the excessive cost of their products, the way Word drives me crazy, etc.

I know there are Windows experts out there that never have all the trouble I have had, and good for them.  It is not for me, plus I believe in many of the MS EVIL past practices and have no doubt that they will repeat any of them they think they can get away with.  I wish the monopoly litigation had been successful and they were broken up into tiny pieces.  Maybe there would be some real new innovation in the computing world today.

I don't agree with their business philosophy or their product performance propaganda and my dislike of MS grows stronger every year.

It is not that hard to find good alternatives, I just wish that Windows did not have such a strangle hold on the market and programmers would have more incentive to write good applications for other OSes.

I have found it is sometimes better to listen to the wishes of the person pulling your pants off, than the person that pulls them on, if you want what is in your pants to stay happy!
