Mint A4000/040 w/1942 monitor on eBay

Someone is going to get a beautiful mint condition A4000/040 from eBay when this auction is over.

I don't have the money, and really don't need another computer in the house, but I sure would like to have an A4000 that is in as good of condition as this one in my collection.

Not my auction, as I would obviously keep this one.

"Little old ladies" probably didn't have their A4ks fitted with toasters, either. :lol:

Anyway, it's still a very nice unit, probably could be perfect with a little care/cleanup. Original boxes may be a plus, but also no disks or manuals..

I agree that the seller has embellished the description a bit and further doubt that it was owned by a "Little Old Lady", but the keyboard looks perfectly clean to me.  Perhaps it is time to clean your monitor or LCD, the dust must be sticking to the screen. :lol:

A few months ago when I decided to get an A2000, I got one off eBay which, with shipping, was about $100. I thought it was going to be a bone stock machine.

$100 is way too much for a bare-bone stock A2000, you are lucky it had those parts inside.

I have seen piles of A2000s for sale at AmiWest for $40 each and most had a SCSI controller w/HD inside.
