well you should not expect much of this vintage computer that usually has a 7.x mhz cpu. an a500 can play old games , and if u want to upgrade it , you will search a long time because parts are very rare , its gonna cost u , and u wont have a good machine for it. also u can get compatibitily problems , because some upgraded a500 wont read old games. if u want to use it alot with newer software , u should look into a 1200 or a 4000 amiga. to use your a500 you should first get all the cables necessary , including an a520 to plug a tv or you can get a commodore monitor like a 1084 , get the workbench disk for your computer , depending on which kickstart you have in your a500. workbenck is the operating system. for my part i have workbench 1.3 disk and kickstart 1.3 rom in it (they have to match) and use it for old vintage 3 1/2inch game disks. sure you should think about upgrading the memory at least 1 mb to play the games. memory expansion slot is under the a500(theres a panel). even games are hard to find so good luck.
