Apparently when Mel drives that car, she plays Doop Doop (by Doop Doop), on loop.

"...If technical authors can get paid enough to buy ferraris Im with the wrong employer!..."
--------------------------------------------------------

I think you'll find that technical authors who think a concertina is an item of clothing, usually don't get enough pay raises to buy a Ferrari  ;-)

LOL Mel
You thought a concertina was a wearable item.
That's funny, that is.

@ Moto

hehe

But really, if the truth be known, I don't fancy the skinny ones. It is like hugging a bicycle.

Actually, Speel, it would be a miracle, see my response above yours  ;-)

Anyway, back to horrendous sound tracks. I have been trying to find one that I remember plagued us at school back in 1985. All I can remember is the chorus was:

"Ooh that, ooh that, ooh thats just amaaaaaazing. It's amazing!"

Does anyone know what that song was?

Ja, a Dutch girl would be nice. I like them a bit adventurous.

I just realised that there are two songs that can get us back on track:

Nonsense, Mel. Let me illustrate. Many years ago, I had a traveling job where I met many young ladies. As luck would have it, I found that three of these young ladies expressed interest in me at the same time (they didn't know each other). What could I do? I fancied all of them. Obviously I would have been a real cad if I just went out with all of them (cheated), so I decided to evaluate each woman's merits. Here is what I did: I gave each woman £200 and told her to spend it how ever she liked, then arranged to meet each woman on her own, a week later.
The first girl spent all that money on perfume and a pair of shoes. She was really happy with her purchase and kissed me thank you.
The second girl bought herself a handbag for £30 and spent the rest of the money on a really fancy briefcase for me. She gave me a really nice hug.
The third girl made a very wise wager with that money and won £400. She gave me the £200 back and split the winnings with me, which was another £200 in my pocket. She kissed me and said we would be good together.

Now who do you think I chose to be my girl-friend?

No mate, Joe Dolce rules, man!
I love that song, and that's no lie.

Yes, even she knows a concertina from a dress  ;-)

"...Thats because your comprehension of written english is second only to your notion of what constitutes something being funny..."
----------------------------------------------------------

Opinions concerning my comprehension of written English vary. However I can at least claim to write it with reasonable skill. If you stick with me, I'll lick your writing into shape :-P

I agree with Adz. That doesn't look like a frown. 'Frown' is too strong a word for what you are doing there. I would describe it more as a hardening of the features...you know, such as when a woman unwittingly acknowledges the passing of wind.

"...Everyone seems to be paying particular attention to the scribings of a pretty lady, we haven't seen that in a while... (no offence intended Mel hehe).
BTW, anyone heard from Blobrana lately? Has anyone seen la Blob and la Mel in the same thread? Are they the same person?..."
-----------------------------------------------------------

PMC, my son, you can't compare Mel to Blobzie.
Blobzie poons Mel in every way I can think of.
They are definitely not the same.
Now if you talk about Cecilia, that is a different matter 'cos I dig that one too  ;-)

I have several plots already reserved for me at the local graveyard.
And there are several women drawing lots to see who turns the first spade load.

But what can I do? I is what I is.
