Back-scatter X-ray Scanner

Ja, the time has come for those of us who would consider concealing something non-metallic in our clothing, to reconsider. Airports are trying new scanners that can map your surface densities up to a few centimetres into the skin. More info here.
On another site they have claimed that there is not enough detail to fully 'appreciate' someone's genitals, for example, but hasten to add that the operator has no direct line-of-sight to the subject, in order to avoid embarrassing situations.
"Excuse me sir, there seems to be a crusty sock in your pants!"  :-o

@ Bloodline

"...Since when has sock abuse been a crime?..."
-----------------------------------------------------------

No sir, it isn't a crime, but I was thinking of the repercussions should said sock be liberated from its hiding place at 30,000 feet and waved menacingly at the air-crew:

BLOODLINE: You all keep back now, I'm armed...do you hear? I've got a hard crusty sock and I know how to use it! You there! Stop looking at me or I'll dip this in your wine. Now these are my demands, and you better meet them or I'm going to start slapping you all with this...

STEWARD: Okay sir don't do anything rash now, we will comply. Can you please just stop waving that around? People remain calm...don't upset the man. We are going to have to divert now.
