I understand exactly what you mean, old bean. But don't expect any change. The sentiments you speak of are quite popular on this site and I don't expect them to go away any time soon. That is the balance (or imbalance) of points-of-view here.
It may be that some users stop coming to the CH (I am considering it) and just drop by for the occasional technical question.
