Drawbridge
« on: January 20, 2025, 03:12:10 PM »
I know that I can load a disk using my Drawbridge drive but can I access the drive from Amibench. Eg use x-copy to write a mounted adf to a real disk ?

Thanks, I only wish to write unprotected adf to disk. So insert adf file into df0 and then write to drawbridge drive via something like x-copy

I mentioned x-copy as a method of copying, I just wish to write an adf to drawbridge (real disk) through Amibench. So thanks for everyone’s suggestions

Why would you do that ?

XCopy will not run on AmiBench, just use GoADF or TSGUI from Aminet to write back an ADF file to real disk. Works fine on AmiBench (tested with a Greaseweazle)  8)

If you really want to use XCopy, just make a Custom Setup with DF0 using ADF and DF1 using DrawBridge/Greaseweazle, then start the XCopy ADF on DF0 and write back any ADF by copy from DF0 to DF1 ...

I have just copied x-copy files from adf to amibench work drive folder then run x-copy from icon on Amibench. I then copied a mounted adf to real disk on Drawbridge drive. It seems that x-copy will run from Amibench and copy mounted adf files to a real disk.
