Don't forget to share with him your link on how to configure the software patches to make the most out of his new 060.

I'd do it, but I forget the link. :)

Can I private him here in Amiga.org by just entering Lurch?

You can PM Lurch here:

But wouldn't Indivision still give that pixelated, doll colour, DOS quality verses PAL/NTSC signal on a 1084s monitor?

The Indivision is for plugging into a modern monitor. Everything looks crystal clear through them so long as you are not using the VGA or HDMI adapter.

What resolutions are you using, FPS, format, audio, etc. etc. ?

re: movies

Ive always been interested to see what an '060 can do in the way of video. Dont expect videos you've downloaded to be anything more than a slideshow, but when converted to use non compressed (or very lightly) video formats its possible to get some decent results on any (amiga) system. Im personally running a 40mhz '040, and experimented a bit. Got some decent results, but for dvd-ish quality video transfer rates (plus possibly AGA limits) seem to be the bottleneck.

Funny enough Ive never seen anyone try what is possible movie wise with an '060. Would be interesting to see if there ends up being the same sort of bottlenecks Im experiencing.

Good luck with it (and congrats by the way)
