Looking for Slim 400Watt ATX PSU
« on: December 01, 2011, 07:09:58 PM »
Any suggestions? All the slims I'm seeing are around 200 Watts which is not enough to keep my eMac powered up.

Looks great, now if I can just find one for about half that price. :)

Animan99: That's the key word I was looking for, thankx!!!! :)

CritAnime: yes we do, but they usually happen around summer time.

EDIT: I ended up buying this one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/180556264566?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

The price was right, and I figured I really don't need more than 1 Hard Drive and 1 DVD-ROM hooked up anyhow, though this may still have enough juice to accommodate more as I have been able to boot my machine with a mere 200 Watt PSU, though that was problematic at times which is why I'm currently using my old flaky and very large 350 Watt PSU.

So ya, I think this 300 Watt one will do nicely and it should prevent me from having to make the casing much larger than I had originally intended.
