Nemac 4 mouse freak out CD32 pad emulation ect.

In Uae, how do you set it up to think that your joypad is a CD32 pad so I can play Gloom without having to use the arrow keys and ALT and Amiga key like some 80's loser. :)

 Also why is it when I am playing nemac 4 that once in a while my character just starts running backwards until I hit ESC, and return to the game?

 UAE runs freaking bad on this new Dual CPU system of mine, but these problems are really holding me back from my propper fun. :)

 Please help... in detail.

I used to have one, but it got stolen, thus I never got to finish that game of Nemac 4  :/
