Well there is no way it can hold up against a Game Cube or XBOX as far as poly count and special effects go (bump map lighting), but when it comes to the PS2, it holds its ground for sure, infact it still surpasses the PS2 in many ways, just look at the video ram and compression. PS2 has little and none!! ha ha ha

I still hang out on dcemulation.com and though I have a modded XBOX, my Dreamcast never has a chance to collect dust. :)

Would be nice to see Amiga OS 5 running on it some day like they did at the shows...

A $35 Amiga would be great! :)

P.S. In case you missed my other post...

...a Giana Sisters sequal is in the works for the Dreamcast as a non-commercial game. :)

I have posted this in dcemulatin.com for you.

redrumloa: you do realize that only about 5 games or so actually made use of the built in WinCE don't you? It is not the only way to go when coding for the DC. :)

Sega screwed users? Well ya they did not market there stuff very well (amiga cough cough), but they never lied to there customers either. Before the DC was released they announced the system specs, unlike Sony and the Sony 2 where the specs were way higher than the PS2 could ever dreamc of reaching, Sega set there specs way below what the DC was capable of. When they decided to pull the plug on the DC, they let everyone know. Hell even when piracy began to run rampant they did not blame it for the the DC's downfall, rather they were realistic and took the blame to themselves and wrote an honest article about how piract does not even begin to put a dent in the market.

I dunno about you, but the only thing I can honestly say I have ever hated about sega is there present actions...

...writing all those great sequals I have been wating for ever for on the PS2 only! :/ Now that pisses me off.

Sega CD... ya it failed but damn if Working Designs did not put out some awsome titles for that little puppy!

 Lunar
 Lunar 2
 Popful Mail
 Vay
 Heimdall
ect...

 Thankx again Sega! :)

Ya microsloth has been bad about there lies too, but I can say I am quite content with my HUGE ass modded XBOX. :) The NVIDIA chip along with the 64Mb RAM puts it way ahead of the other consoles out there right now, though the Game Cube ain't bad at all.

As for the Jag, Atari should have held out and gone with the 60Mhz CPU like they were planning in the first place. Graphically it blew away the Sony, just look at Aliens V.S. Predator, it was just the slow CPU, and buggy uncompleted game code that screwed the system, well that and the fact that Atari rushed another system out there before getting propper 3rd party support. :/ Those controls were the worst too, forgot about that! :)
