As much as I agree with you lempkee in my dislike and distrust of emulators, I'd rather see Amitlon/Umilator eliminated by lack of interest rather than some seedy legal process - especially if Wayne gets dragged into it. Why make Amithlon a martyr when it should have been rejected as a path destructive to the Amiga?

Kronos, I do agree with you: Amithlon brought an extra buzz to the Amiga which, by incompetence or bad luck, hadn't seen new hardware for years. Obviously people liked it - a lot. But like it or not, x86 was rejected by the "Amiga companies" (namely AInc and bPlan). Now, for good or bad, the Amiga future (or lack thereof) is PPC. Anything else is now just retro-computing emulation. This isn't going to change any time soon.

Amiga commerce may be stone dead but I don't see it being revived on OS3.9, lightning fast or not.
In summary, for those who want keep the old Amiga days on modern hardware, Amithlon/Umilator/OSXL is great. For those who want to see the Amiga even become a shadow of the success it once was, Amithlon is a nightmare.
