What you guys think, is there a hope for official RealAudio player port after os4 is released?

None whatsoever. Real demand huge royalties, and I can't see AInc or Hyperion ever paying them. You'll never see RealPlayer on Amiga. Not ever.

But it's a load of crap anyway. It's horribly slow, jammed with filthy spyware, and it's quality is awful. Most of the time if I'm offered a choice between streamed video and downloading an mpeg, 9 out of 10 times I go for the mpeg.

If you want to listen to net radio, I recommend shoutcast. Too bad the Amiga doesn't have any decent shoutcast players, but rumour has it that a new and wonderful streamed mp3 player is being developed for the Amiga in some little-known IRC channel...

Real audio is essential if you listen to radio stations on line in the UK.

It's not. Shoutcast is better by far. Real audio radio channels are usually overcommercialised trash.

Amplifier is crashy rubbish and chokes on faster streams. A much better shoutcast player for the Amiga is coming...and coming soon. :-)
