Jumpship, there's an excellent Samba setup guide on the Amiga at
amigasamba.org. It is in an easy step by step format and I highly recommend it.
By the way, I
think your problem here is in creating a Genesis pwd file - I had the same problem with Miami. Don't worry - go the URL above and all will become clear.
And try not to give up and use FTP - IMO it's far too limiting for transferring files across a LAN. I think Samba is the way to go.
