Say the EU did want to remove national identity, what is it, exactly? Hmm?
That's right, nation doesn't exist. It's a name and a coloured piece of cloth, a concept that means absolutely nothing in praxis. Most of mankind's strife comes from the fact that it's carved up along imaginary national lines rather than cultural and ethnic ones.
If the EU want to remove something that doesn't exist, I don't care. I'd rather care about other things more important, like trade being ruled by unelected beurocrats. The UK flag looks ugly anyway.
