I respect the fact that it's all put together in a package and has some level of support, being time poor.

Support Forum is here: http://forum.amiga.sk

We can all grow our own wheat and make our own bread, but we don't

I do and it works. And I offer my "bread" to you for free. Welcome to Amiga utopia :D

Anyone else having a problem with iBrowse failing when trying to add a fastlink after the upgrade? :(
Can you start a thread in Support Forum http://forum.amiga.sk and provide more details what "failing" means exactly, please?

I started to install AmiKit on my X1000 but halted when it said it would install onto the SYS: partition. Anyone know if this can be changed? I want to install to DH1:
Are you installing the "Real" version? It was never tested on X1000.

It's the free version, RealAK1.0.

All AmiKit versions are free :)

What I was getting at was (1) if I  continued with the installation, would I get the option to change the  installation path? the text at the start of the installation process suggests not (2) if I installed to SYS: and then moved the drawer  to DH1: are there any paths I would need to change?
Thanks!

Please note the "Real AmiKit" conversion is unofficial and not created by me. A special support thread can be found at http://real.amiga.sk/

Ok, that's fine.
Can anyone provide me with a link to the installation guide? The only links I have found so far on Google no longer work.  The link in the ReadMe doesn't work for me, either
It does say "To install AmiKit on a real Amiga computer please follow this AmiKit on a Real Amiga guide" at this page: http://www.amikit.amiga.sk/forum/index.php?action=vtopic&forum=3&page=2#!info/c11fd   but there doesn't appear to be a link to the guide (unless I just can't see it!).

AmiKit for real Amiga is for 68k based Amiga, not for PPC/OS4 machine. Sorry if this was not mentioned clearly enough before. Also the guide and the link are obsolete. The guide was created long time before the RealAmiKit installation archive was born.
