But it might be helpful to post some instructions about what the update requires to install it.

I think it's clear enough: AT LEAST v1.02 update is required. That means if you have AmiKit 1.02 (or 1.03) you can install v1.04 update. Otherwise you need to install v1.02 update first. That's it.
You do NOT need to completely reinstall AmiKit, of course! :-)

Also, could you comment on if there is anyway to determine which updates have been applied?
