cybervision64 video in cable
« on: March 15, 2006, 09:31:55 PM »
Hi all,

After a while I tried to fire up my A4000 again as I now have room for it, but un fortunatly the cybervision was once soldered and had a small flat cable to the motherboard pins in order to display normal monitor graphics and cybervision graphics through 1 monitor, but the connections are loose now.

I know there used to be a cable from the A4000 RGB port to the VIDEO IN port of the cybervision, but I don't have it!

Does anybody know how to become such a cable? Or is there anybody around who can make such a cable?

Now I can't do anything on the VGA monitor as I don't have the cable. Please help me out on this!

It has a flickerfixer and scandoubler and I do have a multisync monitor, I used it until the wires inside broke off (when upgraded memory a lot of times).

Unfortunatly I'm not much of a soldering hero and I also don't know which wire should go where (there are 3 or 4 wires loose I guess)

I'll look for such a converter here in the Netherlands as the converter you give is quite expensive.

computercity is too expensive, it ain't as the good old days :P

on the cybervision itself there was a cable soldered and connected to the motherboard. This is all I kow as I didn't do it myself, I bought this A4000 much like it is now (except for the memory, I upgraded it).

So the soldering is on de card and inside the Amiga, so an Amiga > VGA adapter would do I guess, but is there a possibility to find it any cheaper than 20 euro's?
