Yep, a mirror that can be used as a TV/Monitor is exactly the way to look at it.

Bathroom use is for the more eccentric, but the obvious place where it would make a difference is in bedrooms and hotel rooms, where space can be at a premium. Most bedrooms/hotel rooms have mirrors of this kind, and so having them double up as TVs makes excellent sense.

Then, as has already been mentioned, this could be a step to bring stand alone televiewers into existence. You just need to add a few bits and improve a little on today's technolgy, but it'll be there in a few years.

A monitor that doubles up as a mirror is next to useless, but a mirror that doubles up as a monitor is a top idea.  :-P
