I'm not sure if any of these were their biggest mistake, but they were all bad decisions and contributed to the slippery slope.

I thought he was listing inexpensive additions, and I happen to agree that underspeccing the A1200 was a bad mistake. It hamstrung many commercial developers for the next few years due to the pressure of having to develop for the lowest common denominator. Many of these soon left rather than take a risk in developing for higher specs and facing uncertain sales.

As it was the A1200 came out at least a couple of years too late at those specifications, and the Amiga never stopped losing ground from that day on.
