Never got into Elite 2 - to me it was poorly designed as a game and control was utterly pathetic.
Still a big fan of the original Elite though. The X games come close, though they don't feel as "open ended" as Elite did. Then there's
Oolite which is real cool if you liked the original. Maybe some enterprising coder could port it to the neo-Amigas.
