About the look of the new GUI, what does it matter in a tool like this?
There's a big difference between a fancy GUI and a good-looking GUI.
Nothing's wrong with the 3.1 GUI, even the default Commodore look of GadTools can be configured pretty nicely just with the use of colours.
But the problem is that those who see these screenshots, and those who see screenshots of ReAction in general will think "Wow, AmigaOS sure has one ugly interface".
Look at the difference between this grab:

http://www.amiga.com/3.9/aos39_screen_1.jpgI think Screen #1 looks way better than Screen #2 -- and #1 is from 1995! It's bloody AGA for crying out loud!
The scrollbars and gadgets in screenshot #2 are strangely disproportioned, the look of the scrollbar knobs have the same frame as the common button gadgets (which to my knowledge can't be altered in ReAction - one frame look for everything).
Even a patched GadTools looks better than Screenshot #2! So all I'm saying is: I hope they make ReAction just a tad better-looking.
