I've used ADSL and Cable Modems with both Miami and Genesis (AmiTCP). If you read the MiamiDX docs I don't think you should have any trouble. IIRC, MiamiDX can handle PPPoE and the docs should tell you where to enter the DNS servers, login, password etc.
