That's absolutely fantastic - big hugs to DiscreetFX

From that thread, the thing I miss about the "old days" is the small specialised stores who had staff that knew and cared about things, and were passionate about the products. I guess this applies to many different products, whether your local greengrocer or butcher, hardware store, or computer store! Or another of my hobbies, car audio.
Now we've got PC World and Currys (or Best Buy or Circuit City - although one of those has gone under!) with staff who want to sell anything providing they can sell extended warranties and get their comission. Or supermarkets selling everything at tiny margins so there's no room for someone to provide a premium priced service...
Perhaps that's why, despite the cheesiness, I genuinely like apple stores: there's people in there who really care, know their stuff, and get a kick from helping people. Hmm...
Enough nostalgia! Enjoy the 4000T! That's a great gesture from DiscreetFX.
