Can one imagine how many times the British colonialists have said "bloody weather" several centuries ago?
*me thinks of an Englishman facing a big thundering tornado saying "bloody weather"

40C! That is quite warm - a hot day in blighty is high 20s, a very hot day is in the thirties.

BTW, and I realised this a while after I posted, temperature in SI units would be in Kelvin in any case...

Relative to absolute zero,

Laredo average temperatures this week
nightime Low  = 297.03 K = 534.69 R
daytime high  = 313.15 K = 563.69 R

110 F = 316.48 K = 569.69 R

July and August are the HOT months.
