Hi all,
I need some help getting my A1200 tower on-line.
I've just ordered Virgin Broadband, and a Conexant modem/4port Ethernet router from Dabs.
Next step to get my A1200 to share the internet connection, is to get a PCMCIA Ethernet card to connect to the router.
Can anyone recomend a PCMCIA card for the A1200 for this? Or are there any cards to avoid etc?
I do already have a card (it's a "WinCONNECT D-Link LAN/FAX/MODEM" card) but I don't have an Ethernet cable for it... and it has a small thin socket at the edge. Will this be some kind of standard port? ...could i save a few bucks and get a cable instead of a whole a new card?
I know that Power Computing sell a card for the Amiga for £54.95 that apparently "Includes software and PCMCIA reset fix board".

What's the PCMCIA resest problem? And will this be an issue?
If your interested, this is the router i've bought from Dabs...

Also... (yet another question!) with OS3.9, will there be any other software I'll need? I believe it comes with a TCP/IP stack and browser?!?
Thanks a million for any help on this! :-?
Cheers,
Chris.
PS) Sorry for bombarding you all with questions! ...I seem to be in the right crowd here though :-D
