Hi SpCo97,

The Amiga 600 is a lower quality computer then the Amiga 500.  My advice:  Get rid of the Amiga 600 and have your Amiga 500 repaired.  I can repair your Amiga 500 for a small fee plus S/H.   :-)
My favorite TV shows:  Star Trek Voyager, Forever Knight, Stargate SG1, Married with Children, As Time Goes By, Mr. Bean, Smallville, The Six Million Dollar Man, and Xena

Hi Tomas,

then you could probably put the a600 floppy drive into your a500 instead.

No, the Amiga 600 uses a "slim-line" type of disk drive, like the Amiga 1200.  The Amiga 500 uses the same kinds of disk drives as the Amiga 2000.

SpCo97,

I have a spare Amiga 500 drive that I could sell you.  It is new and comes with a 90-day warranty.  Pmail me.    :-)
