How come everytime there is a post about having to sell amiga stuff somehow the subject 'wife' comes with it ?

Come on guys, just buy a cubboard and put all stuff in it.

Show the woman who's boss... make her wash the dishes and do the ironing - in a 1950's apron.

It's not about who is the boss, but who is smarter.
If you have all your stuff nicely placed inside a chest / cubboard / desk than the whole issue would never arise in the first place. Just like playing chess, always see one step more ahead.

I've never heared someone say:" Oh my goodness, your room looks so nice, lets clean it up!!"

But the problems arise when you go to move house and the effort of moving the cupboard / chest / desk becomes an issue for the lady of the house.  Particularly if you are downsizing and it becomes a choice between her shoe rack and your cupboard full of Amiga gear!

Just like chess, you have to make an offer sometimes. Offer some of your time to go shopping in a furniture store to buy nice NEW cupboards to fit in the new house to put your stuff in.

Anyway,.. hope you don't have to sell too much if you loose.
