First thing you should do is to make sure it is actually the PPC card or not that is causing the problems. So I would add a regular processor card in your machine and if it than works it should be a problem with your PPC card.

If you're sure the computer itself works fine than make sure you've pressed the PPC card in properly. If possible verify the memory chips on another card first to elliminate the memory problems. (simms) Than also check the jumper settings.

If you turn the computer on, watch on the keyboard to see if the caps-lock is flashing, hear the HD spinn on, the floppy click and than possibly see the monitor sync. If all that works try holding both mouse buttons at bootup and click on the device tab. if you get this far, atleast some of the card is working.

I'm not sure if the 680x0 is doing all of the startup.
