Im a new amiga userin recent years but what made me interested was the fact that i THINK one of my friends had a CD32 when we were very young .. but i cant remember enough to be sure...

when i was in high school my a good mate of mine had an A500 given to him by an uncle or something so i bought it of of him for £10.00 and ever since getting my firstamiga ive been hooked

btw i am 18

So you weren't even alive when the Amiga 500 came out, and you're getting into them now. That's way cool. There's something about 8-bit and 16-bit gaming. The game makers back then really had to economise and make the most they could with the little resources they had. Some of the artistry of 8 & 16-bit games is quite amazing. Just look at a game like Lemmings. To get a character like those little Lemmings out of an 8x8 pixel box is fantastic. Modern games just don't have the soul of the games of yesteryear, and the Amiga sported some of the best games of the era. Who needs texture mapping or 3D hardware? Give me Guybrush any day. :-D
