Hi

This is an idea we came up with to help one of our customers for Indivision/FastATA 1200/Lyra, however a different design will need to be made for a Mediator 1200LT4:

Angled Kickstart ROM Riser Socket Adapter

Hi

The angled adapter was for use with FastATA/Indivision/Lyra - sorry misread your original post :O

This will not fit with the Mediator LT4- I just measured the angle and it is far too steep.  However we could probably put together a flat version design for you which will be a squeeze.  One further problem I think will you will encounter is the 40-pin cables connected into the FastATA will push up on the underside of the Mediator (especially if they are fitted with relief strains).  There maybe some lower profile 40-pin connectors.

Hmm, that gives me another idea to try next week:  maybe we can make right angled 40-pin IDE socket for primary port.

Hi

Yes - some of the parts we have to do this already

Would you prefer box header for the right angled IDE or a regular non-boxed version like the original FastATA

I was taking a look at my A1200 with Mediator and it is quite dark down there to plug in the header so I presumed a boxed version would be more preferable
