Faulty accelerator/RAM maybe?

Try filling the RAM disk with files from the hard disk until full and then remove the entire contents- does the Amiga crash?

Boot the Amiga from the Workbench disk and monitor it- do you still get crashes?

A quick easy test is to totally fill then totally purge the RAM disk- this will test the integrity of the memory and a lot of the accelerator functions.

If you get that test out of the way, you can start looking in other areas.

Switch off the computer for 10 mins. Cold Boot for your Workbench floppy disk and not your hard disk- this will boot a 'clean' environment.

Does the accelerator crash- if so it is not software.
