From the picture shown, this is another type of memory (notice the two notches which normal SIMMs do not have).
The Blizzard 1230 SIMM socket has limited space due to the non-angled SIMM socket and the nearby CPU so you have to use low profile simms such as
this new SIMM

It will only fit in some DCE manufactured Blizzard 1260s as the Phase 5 Blizzard 1260 had straight SIMM sockets.
It will also fit in the Blizzard SCSI Kit
