KMTech adapter with PS1 controller works well.

Config makes every other button than the 3 lower shapes buttons autofire/rapidfire which could be haphazard if accidentally triggered.

Aftermarket joypads enable the joystick part to be used otherwise it's the d-pad only for genuine PS1 controllers.

Yes it's for an actual Amiga. I missed this is a A600 GS thread, it's a DB9 to PS1/PS2 controller adapter.
