Isometric games and top down ones always seem to capture my
imagination. If you like Chaos Engine type games I urge you to
investigate the multiplayer-only Brutal Homicide 1 & 2 on Aminet.
Both are coded in Assembly language and have amazing attention to
detail. I've never had so much gameplay for free in my life!
Also, if you like old ladies in your games I heard Worms: Director's
Cut had a nuclear old lady as well as ming vase, concrete donkey,
and a sheep-strike amongst others.
Another game like Chaos Engine would be Mercs on Megadrive(/Genesis),
did that ever get ported to Amiga? Predator 2 might be another one in
a similar urban top-down style.
Also, come to think of it James Bond is a hilarious top-down shooter
for Amiga PD. It has an expansion pack to turn it into "You only live
twice" or something, the sound samples were hilarious.
